Hello Bach Man,
I saw the Eggliners in the new catalogue. As far as I know, they once were produced by aristocraft. Just curious: will we see other former aristocraft products in the future? I´d love to see heavyweights in UP colours or the Napa Valley Wine Train again.
Greetings!
Jurgen
Jurgen,
Indeed they were, I would love to see a GE U30B perhaps on the existing U25B chassis, to keep costs down.

Too bad they did not plan to roll out a 'Canadian Flag' eggliner !
..would likely sell more than the American Independence 'un.

The basic question is for me, if Bachmann uses former aristocraft (or USA Trains) moulds for actual production runs, will they bring out more items? Maybe Bachmann could answer..?
No plans to produce anything else at this time.

You should reconsider that decision. You are losing out on a huge market.
Then, how about just making a few extra couplers and motor blocks during eggliner production?
That would be easy, and profitable.

Does anyone know if they are going to use the Aristo power blocks in the Eggliners, or something else ?
Perhaps Yardmaster can answer this. my guess is that the entire product will be a rerun with no change and simply keep the original motor block if for no other reason to keep costs down.
No change - same as Aristo model.

Before Aristocraft closed there doors they were going to do a production run of Eggliners including the following paint schemes, Police with blinking blue led, Fire with red led blinker, A Frog, Turtle, and a Bunny.
It would be great if Bachmann produced these since they were already announced. :o
