Dear Mr. Bach Man,
Could you tell me a little about the Thomas layout you made? Like, what curves go where? A diagram? I'm trying to make a copy (if you don't mind) and I need it to be portable. Any help on the matters?
Thanks,
Alex
Dear Alex,
There are step by step photos in the gallery. The bottom level has 22" radius around an oval using 18" radius. The second level uses all 18" radius and the upper level is all 15" radius. It was all trial and error, with lots of test fitting and moving around for clearances.
Have fun!

Wow, thanks Mr. Bach-Man! Cleared up all my problems instantly! LOL. :D

(still looking for a good portable idea, and not just adding wheels, needs to fit into the back of a dodge durango, I know, this is probobly impossible... ;))

So on the inside layout of the first level, is it 18" at the far and 15" at the near?
Alex
Well, I'm going to use the Bach-Man's layout, but add my own special touches. I'll post pictures of my progress. Although it will take maybe a month to get started at all.
Alex
Wait so it's all 22" radius on the outside track on the bottom level everywhere?
~Justin
I think on the bottom layer it's:
Far side on the outside layer is 22"
Near side on the outside layer is 18"
Far side on the inside layer is 18"
Near side on the inside layer is 15"
The middle layer is all 18" radius curves
The top layer is all 15" radius curves
Alex
Dear All,
There is no 15" radius on the lower level. It's 22" outside, 18" radius inside.
Have fun!

Okay, thanks Mr. Bach-Man!
Alex
It looks like it gets to be a smaller radius on the lower lever, near side. Do you have straight sections put inbetween the curves at the far end? My eyes are extremely bad for a 13-year-old, and I can't see back there...Soryy for all the questins, I just want to get it right!
Alex
Sometimes the picture itself can portray a difference when there is actually no difference at all.
