Title: Class 37 DCC directional lighting
Post by: ColinA on July 06, 2021, 04:11:33 PM
I have a Class 37 with directional lighting.
Red lights are at the front though, white marker lights at rear.
Is there a simple way to switch these around?
Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

Depending on the decoder installed you've basically got two options:

1. Rewire the decoder and physically swap the white and yellow wires.
2. You may (key word there) be able to swap the light directions by changing a couple of CV's. If the decoder supports it, and not all do, to remap the headlight functions, use CVs 33(F0-Fwd) and 34(F0-Rev). Program CV33 to 002 and Program CV34 to 001.

If reprogramming doesn't work, you're pretty much stuck with option 1.
