Title: DCC crossover issues! Help!

I have bachmann crossovers and when I try to program them, it cause an electrical short. Why? One of them has been on my layout almost three years and worked perfectly... added another and both stopped working and now I can't reprogram them... please help!

Do you have the polarity right?

Yes... I later spoke with Bachmann and it's faulty so they are going to replace it... its up to me to replace the other, unfortunately. I'm still troubleshooting and having no luck. Cheers!

The faulty one may have fried the other one that you been having, that's most likely the issue but you know most companies since it was pre-existing they are not going to replace it but it's cool that they're replacing the faulty one,, I posted a question in my topic "decoders" I'm looking at using my Android tablet as a controller how do I go about doing that?
