Williams by Bachmann / Re: Wish list for 2010

Just a thought. For years we have all operated our Lionel and now Williams, MTH, K-Line, etc. steam locomotives on our layouts without STEAM ERA freight cars. They would need to be traditional sized ofcourse, not true O scale. 671s, 2046s and 736s pulling outside braced wood box cars, composite coal hopper cars, wood side reefers, and so on. If done in traditional size (6464 box car size) I am sure that I would not be the only one gobbling these up for a layout. Any chance on this WBB? I realize the cost involved, but the box cars could probably be done with just new shells and reuse the current frames and trucks.

Mr. Bach-Man,
Any idea on the color scheme of the Cleveland Peter Witt models? My 2009 catalog does not show a photo available. I would love to have one of those for my layout.

I like the steam whistle alot. It could be a little louder though, but it is still NICE. The deisel horn is also pretty cool. I am hoping to get a set of Pennsy sharks next and then maybe an NYC small Hudson. Nice product. I highly reccomend Williams to anyone not wanting to spend a fortune on their trains.

Het Bill,
Congratulations on your purchase! I also just purchased my first Williams steamer a couple of weeks ago and I am very satisfied. It has a flawless paint job and runs like a champ. It is the Pennsy 027 Hudson and it looks great pulling my long string of Industrial Rail Pennsy hoppers or my MTH 027 Pennsy Madison passenger cars. Hey Williams By Bachmann, do you think that you could re-issue the Pennsy Berkshire again? I WOULD REALLY LIKE ONE!

How about a WBB Alco RS2 or RS3. I am sure that a Williams RS3 would be better than Lionel's version. Equip it with dual motors and true blast and also offer a non-powered unit and that would be really cool! Maybe offer it with about 6 to 10 popular road names such as NYC, PRR, ATSF, UP, etc.

Or an adult 52 year old male with four kids at home and one in college can still afford to buy nice trains at a reasonable price!  ;D

I would like to see F3 ABAs in Pennsy tuscan and brunswick green. Also F3s in ATSF freight blue and yellow. GP9s in NKP and Erie paint.

Williams by Bachmann / UPLOAD BOX FULL?
September 21, 2009, 10:47:40 AM
Does anyone check the Upload box? I try to send some pictures of my Williams Trains in action on my new layout and it will not accept my pictures. It says the Upload Box is full. The photos are 78 to 80 kb and should be able to be attatched and uploaded.

Three of the last four locomotives which I have purchased are by Williams and I think that their product is an awesome deal for the money I spent. They all have run flawlessly thus far and the paint jobs are impeccable! Thank You Wiliams By Bachmann for the great products! Cobrabob.
