Hi Casey,

The old site was way out out date because all the item numbers had changed as well as some product selection.  Bad information is worse than no information so we took the online catalog down.  We are working on it now and will be integrated into the Bachmann site very soon.

We will post the photos of the new items as soon as we have approved samples.  They will be worth the wait.

Our default reverse board sequence is FORWARD - NEUTRAL - REVERSE - NEUTRAL.  Some other brands of O Gauge start in neutral.

One of our customers submitted this modification.  We have tested it and it works perfectly! It will sequence NEUTRAL - FORWARD - NEUTRAL - REVERSE after the modification is complete. Click here for modification instructions and diagram.

Our locos start in forward and will reset to forward approximately 8-10 seconds after the power is shut off. If you still need to lock out. Click here for modification instructions and diagram.

Williams by Bachmann / Re: Williams/Bachmann @ York?

The F-3's are part of the Golden Memory Series, so they are painted like the Post-war versions.  The E-7's will have prototypical paint schemes, but there are no pictures in the catalog.  We will have them later in the year, and will post a photo when we get a sample.

The catalog is at the printer right now. We will have them at the York show later this month.

Hope to see you there!

The CW-80 transformer does not sequence ANY brand electronic reverse board correctly unless a light bulb is hooked directly to the track power.  If you add a lighted caboose or passenger car to the train it will sequence properly.  If you do not have either of these, you can wire a house light, lighted lock-on, or other lighted accessory to the track.

Have fun!

The transformer was tested with all major brands of locmotives with sound when it was designed about 4 years ago.  The addition of the smoking caboose should be fine.  The only sure way to know is to measure the current draw with an amp meter.  Watts = amps X volts.  If your watt calculation is under 150 then it will be fine. The size of the layout should not matter if you have muliple power feeds to your track to overcome any poor connections at the track joints.

The paint jobs have always been great, but the photography was never good enough to show them off!
