Title: wire gauge for splicing in extensions
Post by: hunter2115 on January 23, 2009, 12:29:50 PM
What gauge is the wire used on the red terminal wires and the green turnout wires from the factory? I need to splice in extensions.
Thanks

Why not just use the 10ft extensions available for both?

PN: 44498 for the 10ft Red Power Extension

PN: 44598 for the 10ft Green Switch Extension

If you elect not to purchase the extensions, make sure that you use larger wire for the splices - 18 guage lamp zip cord should work well, and is widely available from Home Depot and similar sources.
