Hi All ,  I am building a totally  dcc layout using dynamis and ezitrack (with dcc turnouts),  would like to include automated block signals into it..
What is available ? Are there any block signals that can simply plug into the existing turnouts?
Your input and experience will be greatly appreciated.

HO / DCC Turnout Programming
July 08, 2014, 05:09:04 PM
Hi , I have a Dynamis operating system , all my turnouts are DCC operated , when I go into the programming mode , everything goes as per the instructions. When I turn the controller off to save battery power and turn back on again, all saved addresses for the turnouts appear to have been wiped out... what step am I missing.

I have a Spectrum DCC and Sound , Baldwin 2-8-0 consolidation with medium tender #84509 , the leading tender truck does not want to keep sitting squarely on the rails , possibly the DCC wiring harness is lifting the front of the tender , or there is not enough weight in the tender ...any ideas guys ?

Question is do I have to trim the roadbed on both tracks , if so , by how much and at what angle is recommended ?

HO / EZ Track Layouts
March 08, 2014, 04:22:11 PM
HI , have recently purchased a Spectrum/Dynamis Starter set Maine Central #01403 and a catalogue #99978.Will be using an 8x4 area , purely for lack of any other useable room ..
The track plans/layouts in the E-Ztrack catalogue are minimal , I will be using nickel silver E-Z track , with DCC controlled turnouts etc.
Are there any other reference catalogues for suitable track plans available through Bachmann? have also downladed the "free version of Anyrail.com"
Thank you

HO / DCC power to layout
February 14, 2014, 05:28:21 PM
Hi , am about to start my first DCC layout , will purchase a basic E-Z command unit and engine , and a track starter pack.
I notice that on the back of the controller , there is only one jacking point for power to the track via the rerailer , if I was to use several rerailers , can these also be hooked up to the basic controller or to each other in series??
I am a total novice to all this , so come on guys , would love some serious help here..

General Discussion / DCC Turnouts and Power
February 11, 2014, 05:16:57 PM
Hi , I am I Australia and am looking at purchasing a Bachmann starter pack (E-Z command controller , DCC engine and carriages locally ) will purchase the track starter pack from Bachmann at a later date.
I have asked several local dealers , as to what also will be needed to be purchased , to control turnouts , i.e. separate power supply , switches , controllers , wiring etc. and especially what is required for the DCC turnouts.
The replies thus far have been mixed and basically know one knows.. there seems to be a distinct lack of printed information available to dealers.
I have looked at the forum boards , and mostly it directs you to another part of the Bachmann site , but this at best is quite confusing and still doesn't answer my fundamental question.. "What else is needed to control turnouts on a DCC system , ie separate power supplies , switches/controls , wiring etc."
Please Mr.Bachmann , can you shed some simple light on this?
