Title: Bachmann history
Post by: richg on October 18, 2012, 02:56:35 PM
No idea on how accurate this page is but might enlighten some on what Bachmann produces. The page can be updated and more accurate info included  if you know how to do it.

The Wikipedia Bachmann data is pretty dated.

That is what Obvious Man told me. Maybe Bachmann could update the wiki.

It may not be 2013 current, but looking through the articles, they reference 2006 dates, the 2006 catalog, the Spectrum line of products, DCC equipment and the fact that most of their products are being made in China (they even give Bachmann's Chineese name "Million City"), so I don't think it is very current, but not all that out of date considering the earlier dates in the article are well back in the 1960's.  Probably not much has happened except for some new products that is worth putting in the Wikipedia.

I wish they said more about the Crowther Bros. Were they making Bachmann trains before the sale?

Answered my own curiosity.
Pretty much the same thing on Bachmann's home page.

This site gives a little more detail.
