What exactly is the O gauge "snap-fit" track included with some starter sets?

What track systems are compatible with it? Is there an adaptor section of track of available?

Where can more of it be purchased? What other track parts are available?

Thank you. :)

It sounds like "snap-fit" tracks are those not by WBB, but by Atlas O. You would have to check out the Atlas O website to research the various components of "snap-fit" tracks.

Hope this helps.

I wonder if maybe you might be talking about Fast Track snapping together or RMT sales the old K-Line snap track. Either track does have a transition track to 0 gauge tubular track.

Dear farwest,

http://www.atlaso.com/IR/irtrack.htm

Note:  Old 2007 prices. Current (New & Improved !) prices ~30% higher.

Hope this helps.

To be more specific, I'm asking about the "snap-fit" track mentioned with some Williams starter sets like this one <http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/products.php?act=viewProd&productId=3304>

It does indeed look like Atlas Industrial Rail. If this is the case, there is an O transition piece available. Thank you very much.
