Well, at least we can order it from http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/catalog/?function=detail&id=1952
from the photos of the model there, and the prototype i've seen, it's a pretty good model :) now to convince the boss that i should buy one.
bah, so i went through and tried to order it, but it's not showing up on the bachmann ordering system. what gives b-man?
WE now have the PM #1225 in stock. (That is if you know where i work. I won't say as i don't want to get in trouble.)
Balto, is there any way you could sneak pictures? I would like to have a good look at a production version before I order one.
Also, did we ever get that question answered as to how easy a sound decoder will be to install? I've... been gone a while.
The inside of the tender is enormous. They even have a cut out section of the tender floor to position a speaker. There should be no trouble installing a sound decoder. There is the matter of the capacitors and perhaps the inductors,

So the capacitors have to be cut? No big deal. Sounds almost like they expected to have people converting over.
theres photos on the website i work for.
