Title: 2009 Gullane Thomas G Scale coupler height
Post by: lwsandiego on January 08, 2024, 03:10:21 PM
Question for this group. I'm not very informed at all when it comes to trains and had a friend send my son this engine, plus some random rolling stock as a gift. All the rolling stick is all the same height, but the Thomas engine is a 1/4-1/2 higher. We visited a model train store and all their rolling stock ws also slightly lower.

I did read something online about this set possibly having some sort of adapter or replacement coupling that would lower it to the correct height, and that it may have come new with one in the box? NOt sure if that's accurate, but it's all I could find and we're still confused. ANy feedback would be appreciated, thanks.
