Can you recommend a book or magazine for wiring an N gauge layout. I am operating with E-Z Comd power source but I have several lighted buildings as well as 8 remote switches.
I also find that E-Z Track is unrealistic for my Yard because of the distances created with the switches. Is there and way to improve the distance between tracks.
Thanks,
Emile
Kalmbach makes a nice book "wiring your model railroad". It should cover an easy DC system to include lighting accessories & your turnouts. It may also cover conversion to DCC.
For your yard track, consider using Kato Unitrack or Atlas & Peco turnouts & flextrack. You will have to shim it in between the yard & the mainline. Some 1/4" cork sheet will make it nice & even.
