Title: 2-6-0
Post by: dpurcell on January 27, 2012, 09:55:08 PM
I just got the CNR 2-6-0- today in the mail. Overall it's quite a nice little engine. I do have one problem....the rearmost driver on the fireman's side seems to have a bent axle. There is a distinct wobble. The other side is fine. Is it possible that the axle is bent somehow or that the wheel is on crooked?. Is it easily replaceable?  The axle is part #MT3*2.

Dear Dean,
Contact the dealer for a replacement.
If the dealer wont help we will.
Have fun!

Send/take it back, you need to be well skilled to replace a driver.  I'd send/return either to where you bought it or to Bachmann.

Too bad.  :(

Micro mark won't take it back? If you bought it from them they darn well better replace it,They did on a Bachmann 2-6-6-2 I purchased from them with a broken motor lead though i wound up paying the shipping back to them. Their attitude towards customer service is the reason i kinda  shy away from buying from'em. they want you to send it back to the manufacturer so they got your bucks and don't need worrying about returning stuff to the manufacturer theirselves

Dear Dean,
That sounds odd, but contact service for a replacement.
Thanks!
