General Discussion / Adding Feeders
December 22, 2009, 08:32:22 AM
I have seen several questions and comment about adding feeders to ensure enough power throughout the track.  Is this as simple as I think it is, I add a Bachmann Powered rerailer to the same DC out put on my control box.  Have not yet finished the lay out so now would be a good time to add.  Oh yea I am running HO non-dcc.

You show in your product list a part number 44592, my local hobby shop has been trying to find this for two (2) weeks.  Is it not out yet?

General Discussion / Couplers
December 05, 2009, 09:41:56 AM
OK bought a Bachmann Silver Series track cleaner that has the EZ-Mate Magnetic couplers.  The rest of my stock and engines still have the original couplers that came withthe set, OBTW they are HO.  So I need to change, what is the difference in EZ-Mate and EZ-Mate II?  And how to I know if I need short medium or long?

General Discussion / Bachmann #5 turnout
November 22, 2009, 08:30:10 PM
Picked up two (2) #5 trunouts in the easy track.  When I went to added them to my lay out I found out that the straight, or continuation on the main track, will not connect to another track.  Looks like I need to cut out a piece on either the turnout or the piece being add, is this right.

General Discussion / Atlas -V- Bachmann EZ track
November 16, 2009, 06:15:36 PM
OK I am building a lay out that has two (2) ovals.  One with 18" radius curves inside another using 22" radius curves.  Atlas says to use #6 or #4 switches to link the loops.  What dose this translate to in the EZ track.  Would I use the  EZ track #5 turnout?  Was at first looking at the EZ track #6 Cross over, but the length of that piece is a little two (2) big, seems I remember it is 22" long.  where the turn out looks more like 9" or so. Attached is the layout, the red ovals are the sections I am wondering about.  :-\

General Discussion / Layout wiring
November 13, 2009, 05:36:25 PM
OK I have a non-DCC system.  I have about ten switches that need to be wired.  I have the momentary switchs that come with the Cross Overs and Switch outs, but I am looking for a control Box.  I want to run all the wires for the switches over to one box.  Is there something already made for that, or do I need to create one.  The momentary switchs, can they be powered in seires, or does each need it's own ower lead.
