Title: Are there any differences between the tender for the AT&SF 2-10-4 & the 4-8-4?
Post by: ABC on October 28, 2009, 02:01:25 PM
I was wondering what the differences were between these two tenders in Bachmann's newest (HO) release of both (if different than prototype). I few things I want to know specifically: Are they both the same length? Are they both 8 axle tenders? Does the 4-8-4 tender have more railing on top?
Thanks in advance for any help?

No doubt Bachmann used the same 8 wheel tender on both the 2-10-4 & 4-8-4.
To add different hand rails on top to give them a slight differance of appearance would be quite simple using brass wire.

The tenders are the same on the prototype.
