You will find a schematic with the decoder and understand how different decoders are made and sold.
Look at the Bachmann parts page for non sound decoders. A picture is worth a thousand words.
You will most probably want a decoder with eight pin plug.
Some remove the PC board and hard wire but those people usually have experience.
The Bachmann diagram page has diagrams of what some of the DCC locos look like in the tender.

Now, do you want sound, non sound?
Non sound decoders, around $20.00.
Sound decoders, $50.00 to about $150.00 with speaker, depending on where you buy the decoder.
If you are new to DCC, do some research as there are many variables in DCC.

Ok, I did a little searching. Looks like this loco is not DCC ready so below is a link to converting if this is what you have.
I was wrong, there is a schematic.
Piece of cake. lol

A little more searching, I found the 2 amp decoder is no longer sold. Look for a decoder that can handle 2 amps, though I suspect a 1 amp decoder can work if you do not bother with smoke. After a little while, smoke will be a bother.
