I used NoOx on my on30 layout with very great success, my Bachmann DCC 0-4-2 Porter rarely made a full circuit with stopping several times.  After using NoOx following the instructions carefully I can now leave the Porter unattended for as long as I wish and it will still be running sweetly.
I understand that NoOx will work equally well on brass rail although it should be noted that the so called oxidation on brass rail actually aids conductivity.

Seems these days folk are only to willing to criticise when anything goes wrong.
So for a change I would like Cynthia of the parts dept. to know that her customer service skills are way above average.
I recently purchased "Lyn from a supplier in the States, it arrived in good time minus one steam chest cover and connecting pipe.
An email to Bachmann (Cynthia) resulted in a package of covers for both sides plus pipes.
Well done Cynthia and the parts team at Bachmann for resolving this issue so promptly. ;D ;D ;D

Would anyone know where I can find the diagrams that come with this loco?
They are not listed in the usual place.
Thank you

I have this loco and find that the plugs that connect to the engine can appear to be fully in but are not. Try pushing them in a little more, it may work.
With this loco you can disconnect the engine completely and still have the sounds etc as all the gear is mounted in the tender.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies, being new I had no idea what to expect with the new releases.
I did find that Hobbylinc still have both the Burgundy and Olive observation cars in stock, ordered two of the olive ones for one thing they are ten dollars cheaper at $35.00 and as I intend repainting them anyway. ;D

On30 / Convertible Coach/Observation Car

My first post and as a newbie to on30 I am surprised at the lack of passenger cars.
I see from the 2013 catalogue that the above should be available at some time and I wondered if there was any further information available.
Finally, thank you Bachmann for making available such fine model locomotives, I have a Climax and have just ordered the 4 6 0, look forward to its arrival. ( now for something for the passengers to sit in )  :)
