Title: bachnann ez command
Post by: dgrice6048 on May 27, 2007, 11:17:21 PM
i recently purchased a bachmann train set with ez command, the control does not have an ac output for accessories such as turn outs, lights, ect...   i have been to several hobby shops and it seems no one has an answer on how to power accessories.  i understand the older contrtols have as outputs but do i really want to buy and old controller to do this?

Dear DG,
You will have to get a small power pack with an AC terminal to power your accessories.
Have fun!

An AC wall wart works well.  You can find them at garage sales for $0.25 to $0.50.

As with all of your train items, make sure that they are turned off when you leave the room.  A power strip with a switch and circuit breaker is a good method to do this.
