Title: Installing a generic decoder in an S4 diesel
Post by: TheRicker on January 04, 2021, 11:00:57 AM
I have a Bachmann HO S4 diesel loco - item #63111 - that I want to install a generic 7 wire decoder on without using the 8 pin DCC plug. The existing circuit board is H631X+PCB01. Which wires should be connected to which terminals?

The decoder instructions will tell you. A DZ126 is small. Google DZ126. The PC board is labeled. What looks like two resistors are chokes. Zero resistance. Plug in would be easier but your choice. DZ126PS
