I'm curious what voltage the Porters use for their LEDs.
The PCB attached to the decoder doesn't have any resistors that I recognize, but I could be mistaken since I don't know a lot about components.
Are the LEDs 12 volt?
A standard LED is 1.5 V 20 mA.

Yes, but are these ones standard?
As long as you don't know the type number your guess is as good as mine.
What i do know is that different colours have different voltages.

I should have thought of it sooner, but touching a 1.5 volt battery to the contacts make it shine.
Many are not aware, LED's are current devices. Usually 20 ma max. There is where the confusion can occur.
Many use a 1k resistor for about 9 ma which runs the LED at fifty percent.
Light bulbs are voltage devices.
A good link below. I never bother with the math.
