Title: Bachmann medium Vanderbilt coal tender capacities?
Post by: Dekon on October 21, 2010, 05:05:55 PM
Hello all,

I was just wondering, does anyone have any ideas as to what the capacities for coal and water would be for a tender this size?  Even if you have an educated guess, I am interested to hear it.  I am going to be putting it behind my Spectrum 2-8-0 and will be decaling it.  I know a lot of roads used to put the capacities on the rear of the tender and I wanted to do the same.

Thanks for the input,
Richard

This 0-4 class medium sized vanderbilt used on the GN. F8 consolidation capacitys were  20tons of coal or about 5000 gals of oil with  10,000 gals of water.
