Post by: Popjema on April 14, 2008, 11:52:48 PM
Can you help?  I have ez command and walkabout with 5 amp booster my son has a Roco unit.  To make it easier to program on my layout can we after disconnecting the ez command plug-in his Roco unit to change CV's  etc as you can not do on ez command. ???

Disconnect the ez from your layout and connect the Multimause amplifier.
Or use a separate piece of track, connected to the Multimause amplifier to program your locomotives.
The Multimause is a splendid bargain in Europe. Just 70 euro's for a complete system with a 3 amp booster.

I also suggest you use a separate track from your layout to program CVs. Thus avoiding the disconnect and reconnect steps and the issues that may introduce.

I should have added that if we can connect to the 5 amp Booster we could also by renumbering his trains above 9 and keep mine 1 - 9 and he could also run on my layout

are you saying you were able to operate the multinaus with the EZ command?  Even though Lenz built both systems - I thought they were not compatible.

Can you give us more details.
