Sell my house.  Buy the locomotive and tender.  Then buy a caboose to live in.  Hmmm.  Not sure if I want to live in Utica, New York.  Do you think I could tow it back to Canada with my Toyota?

Seriously, though, the $65,000, or whatever it goes for, would just be the start.  But wouldn't that be something to park on your front lawn?

I am so watching this auction. I wish it would go to a museum.  They should donate it!  It could be a deduction no?

I depends on how many parts you bring at a time :)

I like the living in the caboose idea though, maybe get a part time job with a shortline railroad. That would certainly bring a whole new meeting to working from home. The only downside I could see is you'd need to dowsize the layout if you were to move into a caboose... unless you got a boxcar for the layout. That would be cool.
