Title: Sound in the 2-6-6-2
Post by: ksivils on August 16, 2009, 08:53:46 PM
Does anyone know what the stock sound decoder is that will be used in the upcoming 2-6-6-2?

If Bachmann uses what they have been using in the past,  it will be Tsunami technology.   This is not a full blown Tsunami,  but will have the most important aspects of the full Tsunami.   Usually the Bachmann version has less selection of whistles.

Based on Bachmann's and the Bach Man's recent trip to Soundtraxx, maybe there will be a surprise?

The sound has been the question in my local modeling circle. "Will it be the correct sound  for this loco or will it be  generic so to speak" ?
I have faith it will knock our socks off when we get to hear one ;D
Anxiously awaiting...
