Interesting cautionary tale about the loss of control of your creations. Now I know why JK Rawlings so jealously guards the rights to Harry Potter.
that is no new news dude, and does this involve bachmann thomas at all? I would suggest deleted this before people get on your nerves

I agree with jet. If I'm not mistaken (not trying to sound rude here), but was'nt there a topic about the movie Hero of the Rails? Thats not Bachmann related. Theres also many other topics that are'nt Bachmann related and are on here.

No need to be too uptight.
As I'm carving up my large scale Percy back into an Avonside 0-4-0ST on the large scale forum so I'm just a visitor here, had I known it shoulda gone into the "all things" forum thats where I'da put it.
Just thought as a Thomas forum filled with Thomas fans that yall would find the article interesting, those that did I'm glad you enjoyed it ;)
Doesn't really have anything to do with Bachmann Thomas, but it's an interesting study on marketing, and what happens when you sell away all the rights to your creation. Same thing happened with Superman.
