Thank you.  This worked.  My instructions said that I was to pry open the 2 side tabs.  So much for following the instructions.  Thanks again

I have the Bachmann HO EMD GP40 Diesel Loco and I want to add DCC to it.  It can not figure out how to open up the Diesel from its frame.  Can anyone help?

Thanks,

This is just what I needed.

This seems to be my problem.  The wheels do not unscrew and the tender seems to be sealed.

Where and how do I add a DCC Decoder to this Engine/Tender?

Thanks to everyone for your tips.  The reason I have this Tyco is because it was from when my sons were just children and I have a problem letting go.

HO / Locomotive Speed

I have a TYCO DC 4015 Diesel Locomotive.  It runs about 10 x's faster in reverse than in forward.  Can anyone help me resolve this problem?  The forward speed is like a snail.
