Title: Using Bachman EZ Command booster with digitrax command system
Post by: dgdaigle on January 09, 2014, 04:37:22 PM
I would like to hear from someone about the performance and any issues in using an EZ Command 5A booster with a Digitrax DCC Command system.

dg-

It should work. You can't mix controllers, throttles or command stations but boosters are pretty much interchangeable. I would check the prices of all manufacturers' boosters before buying one as the prices
are all over the map.

What Digitrax system are you using? And how big a layout do you have? Number of DCC engines you plan on running and do any have sound?  Joe

Five amps will give him plenty of power unless he plans to operate a bunch of older engines
with sound and a fleet of passenger cars with incandescent lights.
