HO / Dash 8/ Dash 9
August 12, 2020, 01:43:46 PM
Anyone here wish Bachmann would make the Dash 8 or Dash 9? They made a Dash 840-CW in N scale. I'd like to see these be made in HO scale. What are your thoughts on this? Please let me know thanx

Okay little late to the party on this one so here's what I'd like to be announced in February 2021.

HO Scale:
Silver Spencer
Fish van
Open wagon with crates
Troublesome Truck #7 (utility van)

HO narrow gauge:
Sir Handle
Duke(long shot)

N scale:
Henry
Gordon
Express Coaches
Troublesome Truck #3
S.C.Ruffy

Large Scale
Mavis
Troublesome Truck #3
Fish van

This is just what I would like to see Bachmann make. I can tell you some of these predictions are bound to happen sooner or later. What those predictions are is up to you. We can talk it over.

So now that James Goes Buzz Buzz is in the mix here. Who else would buy that?

HO / Dash 8-40CW
February 15, 2020, 03:39:35 AM
Hey does anyone here collect the Dash 8-40CW or Dash 9? I know Bachmann has made them in N scale with DCC and economi sound. Was wondering if these would ever be released in HO with the CSX, BNSF, or Norfolk Southern paint schemes. If there a demand for those? Let me know what you guys think. Thanx

When I was at York I suggested to the Bachmann Representatives they make a limited edition James Goes Buzz Buzz. I think that's where the idea for busy bee James came from. I don't know about you guys but I'm gonna get busy bee James. I can't wait until it gets released.

HO / Re: Electric train sets
January 22, 2020, 09:36:11 PM
Hi Len thank you for joining the conversation. I actually have the Diesel set you just listed but the set I mentioned that has been long discontinued is known as the Diesel digital commander set with a Union Pacific GP40 diesel locomotive and I think about five freight cars. It's featured in the 2010 catalogue along with the digital commander set with two diesel locomotives. So to continue this talk does anyone here collect trains sets for fun? I do and it's a great time to just put a nice layout on the bedroom floor and simply run the train. If anyone else here collects HO scale electric train sets. Comment below what your favorite set is. I'd love to hear from you guys.

HO / Electric train sets

So I was looking through an old catalogue from like 10 years ago. Anyone remember the Rail King, Diesel Digital Commander, Steam Digital commander, Thunderbolt and Rail Spike sets? I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas if Bachmann would either rerelease these sets or could you buy the cars separately along with the locomotive? Let me know below what you guys think. I think I have some ideas for some cool sets if you all are interested.

Hey guys I have a question. Does anyone know when Bachmann Percy and Rusty will be in stock? My local train store has them both on order but the distributor says they aren't in stock. Any updates please let me know thanx.

Right I see your point but Silver Spencer can't be that much of a stretch. I mean that would sell pretty good

Thank you so much those Ideas are great too. I just custom photoshopped my own ideas of the first 3 as mentioned above. I think Bachmann could make these and still make great with sales

Thomas & Friends / Limited Edition Models
April 14, 2019, 05:27:53 PM
Hey guys I made this thread for those who enjoy the classic Thomas episodes where Thomas and his friends get into sticky situations. Below is a list of Limited edition models for the HO scale range I created. I decided that these limited edition models would be very cost effective and easier to produce rather than introducing new characters. Not that I don't want new characters it's just that times are hard right now for Bachmann because of tooling costs to make new molds. So I decided to create a thread that would totally change things up with limited edition models that commemorate classic episodes of the TV series.

Thomas Comes to breakfast- Sad face Thomas with a bush painted on his smokebox, leaves painted on his boiler and dust and dirt around his tanks with some weathering. Also egg yolks on his cheeks to add more humor.

James Goes Buzz Buzz- surprised face red nosed James with bees painted on his boiler. This was mentioned in the Thomas in 2020 thread.

Henry in Something in the Air- Sad face Henry with Fish painted on his boiler and tender and water blotches on his boiler and tender.

Now this is just a start. If you guys think this is a good idea please drop your ideas below I hope I don't get made fun of for this.
