I wanna see the prototype picture. Hopefully soon.
...you have no idea how desperate we (mostly me) are for a picture of him... I hope Bachmann has listened to our points... :'(

Whenever the Skarloey Railway is mentioned... ClearWater acts so immature... what he doesn't know is that Bachmann makes what people want on high demand, like Duck who is coming later this year for instance! >:(

The SKR engines would look great in G and HO scale, but I rather they be N scale so they're kind of like real sizes or whatever since Narrow Gauge (N) engines are smaller than Standard Gauge (HO) engines. ;D

I'm really liking everyone's choices so far! :D

Are you going to use Splatter and Dodge's faces on the Bachmann Diesel models when you make them? Or will they have the same face, but with some little edits?

Also, will they keep the ladders around their faces or will they be taken off? ???

That's good to hear! :D

You really think Bachmann's going to have the time to make all the realistic body classes of the Thomas range? >:(

did you forget that Bachmann also sells British locomotives, I for one have given some thought about this idea, seeing how Bachmann can make this work.... then it hit me, Thomas is an E-2. What if Bachmann were to release regular models with the option of a Thomas model with no face? So it would basically be painted to look like Thomas without his face. I started to think this was a very clever idea. James isn't exactly British but an Australian 2-6-0 if memory serves correct. a website called "the real lives of Thomas the tank engine and friends" should explain the rest.

Yes, I know that, but how could they take the time to make them more realistic/RWS-like? And to add to that, in the Bachmann Junior range or some other parts, they use Thomas's model without a face and painted a different livery to look like a typical normal locomotive (being an E2, except in Thomas's TVS shape).

Huh, if only they posted a picture of Duck, too at the same time... that would've been better. >:(

Are they still deciding on the face?

Brilliant job on Dennis. ;)
If there's going to be a TM Norman, will h be done, too? ???

I think the faces were based on promotional art.

Is the so-called "Glaswegian" Scottish, too? :P

Don't forget that Donal' & Douggie are Scottish, too... :P

They still have made a mistake... if you look at Smudger's preview picture, it's Stuart behind Duke's brakevan in "You can't win". :-\
