Thanks a lot guys!  :)

I'd take Bachmann's models to Hornby's any day. The only problem is that Bachmann needs to design their engines with open cabs. The motor and wiring takes up too much room. That, and they need to make more! ;D

Cool! This saves me from buying a new Thomas!

I got mine a couple years ago in the set with him Annie and Clarabel. But on the left side of his chin, he has a mole! It's just a small bit of paint obviously, but it looks really funny on him!

I noticed that in the recently released Holiday set, Thomas comes with a snowplow on his front buffers. Looking at the picture, it seems as though it can be removed. As I have not yet seen the set in stores, I cannot be sure about this. Can it be removed (does it click off or something), or is it attached (leaving me to cut it off)?

Thomas & Friends / Question for The Bach-Man
March 04, 2009, 09:09:07 PM
Hello,

I don't come on here often. But I noticed that ever since the delay of Emily, the Thomas range's announcements are released a year behind schedule. I was actually wondering about the G scale models. Can we expect them this year, given the fact they are on Bachmann's 2009 catalogue? Or will they be arriving on December 31st, 2010, like the rest of the 2009 range? I don't mean to sound rude or anything.

That is P.T. Boomer, a character removed from the final cut of the film just weeks before release for being too scary for children at a test screening. The test screening also resulted in changes in voice actors for Thomas, James, Percy, and Diesel 10. The final film is at least 15 minutes shorter than what it was before the test screening.

If you listen closely you can hear P.T. Boomer, Keith Scott, John Bellis, and Splodge and Lady's original lines. This is huge. Enjoy!

Why weren't they painted black?

Hello Bach-Man,

Will Mavis's white opaque windows be removed for the shipped models so you can see inside the cab?

Thanks,

Those products are really nice, all of them. Shame Spencer's Coach and Salty won't be out for another year.

I plan to add DCC myself when I finally get my train set up and running.

Ok, everyone here is a noob (including me). Gordon made a thread about pointless threads, and everyone flames him for making a pointless thread. Ummm, do you see what I am getting at? Also, if you guys can talk about the Thomas show, he can talk about a Thomas forum? Kapeesh? Don't make me go into detail for god sakes, you guys are acting like the babies who watch this show!
