I didn't know that Gargraves is still manufactured. It used to be a premium product.

The Gargraves track is advertising in the Justrains ad in Garden Railways. They also have a website which appears to be current . The ad says that we can save 75% over brass but I don't see how they could even with the high cost of brass. Can any one add to this info.

Gargraves O gauge track is made of hollow tinplate just like Lionel track. I don't think they use solid rail at all. I know they made stainless steel  G gauge track for outdoor use but I am unfamiliar with that product.

At one time you could send then a dollar (a very long time ago!) and they'd send you a short piece for examination.(Those were the days, my friend.)

As I said in my earlier post, it was, and I assume stil is, a high quality product.
