Hey Bach Man. I picked up a ho greyhound bus at a swap meet. It says 7019 on the bottom. Can you give me any info on when it was made, price, (hope I got a good deal) etc. Also is it really ho. It is smaller than my Mini metals one.
Bachmann never made a Greyhound bus. The most accurate metal diecast Greyhound bus made in 1:87 was made by Lesney and cost 10 cents at the time.
Interesting, because on the bottom it says Bachmann , Hong Kong, 7019, Truck set #2
The Bachmann , Hong Kong, 7019, Truck set #2 packaging is labeled N scale.
If it's N-scale it's part of the Bachmann 42519 Motor Truck Set #2. The set also included an undersize fire truck and two 'Civil Defense' vehicles.
A complete, unopened, set usually goes for around $3.00 at train shows.

:)Thanks all you have been a big help.
Hunt,
Looks like "Motor Truck Set #2" was around long enough to go from a 4-digit part number, 7019, with green packaging to a 5-digit, 42519, with blue packaging. Probably worth the $3 to get the bus.
