Title: N Gauge Figure 8
Post by: wbaird7 on December 29, 2013, 05:04:10 PM
What E-Z track parts, and how many, do I need to purchase to create small smooth running figure 8? New to hobby tried internet searches but did not find the information I need.

Thanks James. I'll give that a try. You know one would think that Bachmann would sell track packs for making figure 8s but no that would be too easy. LOL. Thanks again.

Just a caveat that the Bachmann 4-4-0 trainset old-time steam loco does not like going over the crossing, at least from my experience.  It would stall, so I had to run it fast to clear the crossing, but then it would sometimes derail.  Again, this is the small trainset 4-4-0 with the motor inside the tender.  Otherwise, I enjoyed my E-Z track figure 8 temporary layout.  Bachmann diesels and the larger Bachmann 4-8-4 Northern had no problems negotiating the crossover.
