Title: Configure and Control DCC Turnouts / Switches
Post by: repivarnik on June 16, 2021, 12:25:01 PM
I just purchased the Bachmann Digital Commander HO train set and a Bachmann expansion track set. I am new to DCC-equipped trains and do not know how to configure or control the DCC turnouts / switches. The manual states follow the turnout manufacturer's instructions, but this is a Bachmann set and I could not find instructions. Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much. I'll give this a try this weekend.

repivarnik,

What type Bachmann turnouts do you have? manual, remote or DCC decoder equipped?

According to product documentation in the Bachmann ONLINE STORE,
The Digital Commander train set includes 1 manual turnout – left
  The E-Z Track Expander Set Includes 1 remote turnout-left, 1 remote turnout-right

The manual and remote type turnouts are not equipped with DCC decoder and thus the instructions provided by Desert Rose are not applicable.
