Title: Reverse loop DCC
Post by: McCullough on September 14, 2010, 01:11:28 AM
I have an operating reverse loop using an MRC reversing module. I have created another reverse loop within this main loop. Can I add another module at the point of polarity conflict or must I find another solution?

McC-

Theoretically, yes, but I don't think I'd do it.  You could have the kind of electrical problem where the magic smoke comes out and things stop working if the reverse unit must function on more than one polarity problem at a time.  Given the relatively low cost and the ability to use whoever's reverse module you find at the best price on any DCC system I'd just get another.  This is one of those safe/sorry equations.

I have to agree with DD

I use 2 Bachmann's autoreverse modules on my layout(s) and have no issues.
And for what it's worth I use MRC Prodigy Advance2 controller.
