Title: E-Z Track gapped track
Post by: Law Dawg 86 on April 07, 2010, 06:21:19 PM
I recently purchased the gapped E-z Track,#44597.I want to use it for control blocks, and sidings with locomotives that are parked. Here are my questions:

1. The power plug is under the track bed. Where can I get the plugs to hook up the power?
2. There are two levers on the power plug. To use this for a turn out how do I position the levers?
3. To use this as a control block, in what position do I want the levers?

I experimented using power using plugs I had, but on the main line if I had both levers open once the engine got to that spot it stopped. I want to use selector switches to be able to shut power off to a section when needed if bringing a train out.

I am new at this, so I apologize if this sounds stupid.

I'm not an expert but what I would suggest
buy the Bachmann red extension cable, cut it in half thus you have two separate plugs. 2nd you want the levers open and 3rd i would put a switch in line with one of the plugs to shut off that section of track

hope this helps
