Title: Bachmann GE44 Ton on DC
Post by: dbqfan on February 06, 2014, 02:10:51 PM
I have a new Bachmann GE 44 Ton switcher that has DCC on board.  I would like to know if I can run this engine on my DC layout.  I use a MRC Tech 3 Power Command DC controller.  I also have a Atheran DC controller.

Yes you can. It is right in the advertising for the loco. Also, go look at the EZ Command manual right in the Parts page.
If you ever buy a used with DCC on board, some disable the DC function.
If the DC controllers have pulse power, turn it off. It can confuse the decoder.
Take time to look though ALL the Bachmann website.
