I removed the gears from the moving eye the make the faces replaceable with magnets so i can take them places and have a adult and child version https://www.flickr.com/photos/86150435@N04/14114416651/

SO today i got my Devious Diesel  and after installing dcc i decided to try to to improve the 3 pole  power and performance. i have been working with neodymium magnets for uncoupling and replaceable parts on locomotives. i put some on the side of Diesels motor and it seems to be working better by at least 25% if not 35%, i also removed the gears ti the eyes all 5 of them.

the redhead may be a good replacement but a tcs micro led should work great. plus you gave me an idea to tell which way is forward on my little rust bucket

i have a devious diesel that is going to be converted into a LNER DES1 i need a screen that can be cut down  and place magnets to make diesels face removable. any ideas on where to get the radiator  screen i need?

The photo posting on here doesn't work with my new laptop its just frustrating. I'm thinking of salty next, partially because of the 5 pole motor in him like Mavis has.

Thomas & Friends / Mavis Dcc & sound

I put a Tsunami tsu-750 645 in Mavis, mostly for show to the kid who view the stores layout. it only took about 15 minutes with disassemby  of gear box from the wheels.

That is completely different from what my tsunami sound guide says, it says turn cv116 to 0 to turn off auto notching or set
cv116 to 1-15 for  the number of speed steps before the engine notches up again.  it was that easy to program my class 03 manual notching.
