I am planning to purchase the Brooklyn NY Witt from Micro Mark, the small hobby tools company. They sell Bachmann as well as WBB products, and have a good low price on the Witts.

I have a Willaims FP45 loco, with 6 wheel trucks. The 2 outer-most and 2 center axles are flanged and driven by the motors. The 2 inner-most axles are equipped with non flanged, non geared plastic wheels. I do run O27 and O31 tracks, but don't run switches, just loops. My FP45 will easily navigate both radius curves, without derailing, but there is noticeable overhang, but nothing serious.

Micromark's "Super Buy" price for the "Witts" is $137.95 - your chioce of raodname and $125.95 - Micromark's choice of raonname (I would actually avoid this option, because they don't give you the freedom to select the roadname that you want.)

Its good to know that Ma & Pa Junction advertise the "Witts" for $160.00, but if you want a price lower than that, I would go with Micromark.

My suggestion for ordering a WBB product, such as the "Witts", I would try ordering from an actual dealer/retailer, such as Micro Mark, the small hobby tools company. The sell some (but not all) of the WBB product line, and they do advertise the "Witts". According to WBB, the "Witts" are slated for release next month (June), but you may wish to check with WBB on that and also check with Micro Mark to see when they will be receiving a shipment of the "Witts"

The Peter Witt trolleys are indeed listed in the traditional O gauge category. Go to the Williams section of the website, and click on the link to the traditional O gauge trains. Next, click on the link to electric locos. The "Witts" are listed in the electric loco category.

I would like to point out that the colors of the Baltimore Witt are a bit (not too much) incorrect. The bright yellow with bright red stripes should be more of a cream with maroon stripes and tan roof,such as the cream and maroon colors used on the WBB Cleveland and Toronto Witts. So the actual production model could have a more accurate color scheme vs. the pre-production model.

Just a thought though, as was done with the HO "Witts", would it be possible to post additional pics that show close-up's of the various areas of detail ?.
These pics could show roof and trolley pole detail, front/back end detail, trucks and motor(s) detail, under-car detail, and interior (with body removed from chassis) detail.

I have a powered Williams FP45 diesel featuring 2 motors. Its chassis has all the necessary cut outs and mounting brackets to accomodate its motor trucks. While I currently don't have any Willliams non-powered units, it is to my knowledge that the chassis of Williams non-powered units do not feature the necessary cut outs and mounting brackets to accomodate the motor trucks. This would require that the end user use a dremel (or other rotary cutting) tool and a drill to cut the necessary holes in the non-powered chassis to mount the power upgrade motors, and drill holes for any screws needed to secure the motor trucks to the chassis.  Optionally, the end user would have to aquire a stripped chassis (with no lights, electronics, or motor trucks) for a powered unit through WBB parts dept., install the power upgrade motors, as well as lights and electronics on the chassis, and mount the shell from the non- powered unit on the powered chassis.

It would be nice to see some pics of the new soon to be released WBB Peter Witt trolley for the photo gallery. Photos of the sample Peter Witt trolley would be fine, too, untill the actual production ones are available I was at the Big 2010 Springfield, Mass. train show at the end of January, and was over at the WBB setup, and I saw the Peter Witt trolley sample, but could not get a good look at it, as it was up on a high shelf, and there wasn't an operational one running on a track, so having pics of the WBB Peter Witt sample in the Photo Gallery would be a nice idea.
Photos could include roof & pole detail, truck & motor detail, interior detail, exterior detail, underside detail, and drivetrain detail.
