I am preparing the Shay for Tsunami installation. Can anyone help with pin call outs on the 4-pin DCC plug?
The instruction with the SoundTraxx Part #826020 TSU-750 Light Logging decoder identifies what wire goes where.
Does the PCB in your shay look like this

Notice the 8-pin socket on the PCB in the image identifies the 4 and 5 pin out.
The 8-pin socket is oriented
<<< rear of tender
Pin 1 . . pin 8
Pin 2 . . pin 7
Pin 3 . . pin 6
Pin 4 . . pin 5
Not an easy installation - speaker mounts in the fuel bunker
Hunt, this is SEA1109 under a new name. My request wasn't clear. Of course it's an 8-pin plug.
I've done dozens of Tsunami installs. And I can identify the pins on the 8-pin plug, but which one goes to the red wire, black, gray, etc? :)
You will need to label each wire as you remove it from the PCB if your plan is to eliminate the PCB and hardwire the decoder. You cannot depend on the color of the Shay's internal wiring to identify its purpose.
