Thanks!
Now, how do I connect the lights? As a pair of wires is needed for each one, which is the other wire?
And, how do I identify DC terminals in the decoder for adding a keep-alive device?

A 6-pin DCC decoder does not use a common positive wire for lights. The lights use rectified leads from the rails. The value of the resistors depend on lights used.

In the diagram, the rectangle with pin numbers is a socket.

Use a decoder equipped with a keep-alive or one designed to accept a keep-alive.

BTW -- For those that do not know, the circuit symbol off 3 and 4 is a
diode.
