Hi,

1.  Logging, Coal mining, general freight

2.  Many Korber, Trackmun, Design Preservation, Downtown Deco, some Walters, Ameritowne. other easy kits--craftsman kits NO (not enough skill or patience).

3.  20's to 1949 (coal) - Bachmann - 2 shays, 2 climaxes, 1 porter----4 MMI - 2 K27's and 2 K28's.  50 autos, 20 pickups, 15 trucks.  8 passenger cars, not many freight cars (waiting for Bachmann to provide sets with different car numbers and lower trucks)  Track- Old Pullman (code 83), hidden track- Atlas.

4.  12x36 walkaround folded dogbone (along the walls).  40 switches - one yard, one town, 3 continuous double loops (12 tracks that cross at different elevations and disappear here and there)  for 1 passenger, 2 freight trains, will be DDC.  The three trains run contiuously, never crossing or sharing same track.

Thanx,  bob

General Discussion / Pink vs White Styrofoam
April 20, 2007, 11:36:34 AM
My local supplier of styrofoam has not heard of and does not carry pink styrofoam.  We both would like to know why pink is preferred as a base for a layout.  What are the physical properties differences?

Hi,
Today, I contacted Southwest.  They are already out of DSD-B2TSLC sound.  They suggested I call Soundtraxx and see when they are going replace that board.  Adell (sp?) said there are no plans to replace the DSD-B2TSLC.

Is there another manufacturer of a good Shay and Climax sound board??

General Discussion / plasticville kit wanted
February 02, 2007, 11:18:17 AM
Mr. Bach man,
I am looking to buy a certain out-of-production Plasticville kit.  May I advertise for it in the Plasticville forum?  I do realize this could open a can of worms.  So, if you would prefer that no searching for Bachmann or other brands of items use these forums then please say so.

Thanx,   bob
