Title: Curves vs. switches
Post by: Daylight4449 on May 17, 2008, 08:39:18 AM
I have place on my layout where 2 s curves meet making a dip. I did this on both mainlines and yet the track does not seem perfectly even. What is the length of straight before a curve on a switch, I know THAT THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.

no, the smallest they make is 2" which comes with a 90" diamonds but you should be able to make it fit using lengths of bachmann track aslong as you have more than 9" of space.
