Title: Original MSRP
Post by: polch on November 20, 2007, 11:17:59 PM
How can I find out the original MSRP of some N scale Bachmann freight cars and engines that were from past years? On the current web site if I search for the item by number I get "no items found".

Old catalogues from past years should have what you want.

Well, I have the same problem...

Should be possible that Bachmann creates an old material database?

At least here, in Spain, the problem is Bachmann is considered a second class product, and importer is not very useful..."material is so cheap that we don`t import spare parts, buy and dismount a new loco if you need to repair your loco..." I mean, the problem is not what look for; it`s where look for.

Depending on how old they are you could check Walthers www.walthers.com . However they put their manu number in front of the Bachmann number so you may want to search by disciption.

Try putting the just the Bachmann number when searching Walthers. I believe it will work. However, depending on age  the item number may not be on Walthers.
