Under the E-Z Command/DCC category on the products page, there are
E-Z Command DCC Turnouts. Under the product information, at the very bottom, it says not designed for DC powered layouts. Does anyone know why these can't be used on DC powered layouts, and will they atleast connect to normal E-Z Track?
I believe the switchs get their signal the Same way as locomotives, through the track. But unlike the locomotives they probably don't have the ability to run on DC. Their kind of useless on DC so I don't see why you would be using them on DC?
Dear Indiana,
They're controlled by the DCC system, so on an analog layout they'd basically be high priced manual switches.
Have fun!

So, if they're technically high priced manual switches for analog layouts, do you think you could make some of those track sections for analog too? I mean the ones you only made for DCC.
Which track sections would those be?
Bachmann makes a full selection of turnouts for DC and they are less expensive than the DCC turnouts and they work on manual and remote.
