Hay, if bachmann is really working closely with HIT, then why not make Hank, or Flora after they are reveald. Not only that but I just got the Great Discovery and maybe bachmann or Hornby might make Stanly, or the Jack pack, and maybe smething from Great Waterton.

Well till the next post...later.

Hank and Flora have only just been seen in the tv series, it is highly unlikely that they will be made after just being seen once in the episodes, yeah it is a good idea, but i just cannot see it happening yet...

I doubt that any RWS characters will be made, Bachmann is working closely with HIT Entertainment, so they will be making Tv series models only, not RWS ones.

I personally, would like to see Rosie and Diesel made and possibly Harvey.

The Bachmann Mavis looks fine in whatever colour Bachmann chooses to make her, same can also be said about the Edward model too, i can understand if people are upset with the model, fair play, but that is no reason whatsoever to start posting stuff that could lead to a permanent banning from this board and also demanding to know what her proper colour will be.

Don't flame me for posting this, as i too want this model as well as Edward, but, if nobody here likes the model in the  colour that it has been made in, then why don't you just paint it yourself when you get her instead of potsing harsh comments like that here on a modellers forum?

Basically, all fan created model railway videos are nothing to do with HIT Entertainment whatsoever, they will not do anything about what people make, mainly because, the stories are not the same as those on the tv and because, the whole point of creating model trains is to create your own adventures, thus encouraging more younger modellers to buy the products.

Captain Punjab, Knuckles, Myself and many others on youtube, have all done model series based around our own creative writting, some stories have been adapted to suit our writting and make them better, but, in all, HIT have no interest in what people do with their model trains, they are made for a reason, and that is as i just stated above.

There is no need to worry or get worked up about copyright issues, if HIT were that bothered about it, they would have stated so years ago.

Bluenose was made from an 8F 2-8-0 tender engine, the face is made of plaster, using the same method as Knuckles from the MTF board.

I myself have created quite a few projects, for those who do not already know me, i am known as Henry on the MTF board, and so far, have made a number of new models using exisiting locos and have scratchbuilt my latest creation using only plasticard and components from other spare projects.

I'm in favour of Devious Diesel being selected for a new model, we have Mavis now as well as Salty who is arriving later in the year, but Diesel would make a good addition to the diesel locos.

TUGS was created in 1988 by David Mitton and Robert Cardona after two successful series of Thomas The Tank Engine, the show was mainly based around a big harbour known as 'Bigg City Port', there, two rival boat companies, the star fleet and z stacks competed against one another in everyday events, from bringing in ocean liners to moving steel structures, and just like Thomas and Friends, there were always disatsers, the most severe being in the episode titled 'Munitions', where a naval tug called Bluenose, caused the destruction of two characters, Big Mickey the crane and the naval tramper 'Krakatoa'.

Thomas & Friends / Re: HO Tidmouth Sheds and Repair Yard

The shed is made by Vollmer, a German company, hence the splendid detail and accuracy of the kit, and it is indeed based on a german locomotive shed/roundhouse.

I myself also have the kit, which i am yet to build and make into the season one style sheds, weathered and painted in the tv series shed colour, can i ask how long it took you to build yours?

I wonder how the model is coming along, still cannot wait to see what the test shots look like when they come around.

I sincerly hope that you don't do this on the MTF forum, cause we do NOT want this sort of behaviour over something as petty as this, this really was not called for at all, if you have to wait till November or even 2009 to get Edward and Mavis, then just be glad that they are actually being made and stop acting like a child aged between 1 and 2 yrs....

I agree that Duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver, Bill, Ben and Diesel are all models that could be produced in the near future. But, i can't see how Lady would be added, she has only had one appearance in the T&TMRR movie, and she only made a short role in CAE, so i don;t see how she could be a popular engine if she has not had a proper tv series role.

But, again, i am looking forward to seeing what Edward turns out like, top priority on my list.

It takes a long time to make mouldings accurate and correct, and Bachmann make wonderful models with great time and care, i just cannot wait to see what Salty turns out like when he does eventually come around....

Edward and Mavis are mainly top of my list for 2008 models to get when they come around, Edward is am most wanting to see.
