QuoteSecond, why would they make Rosie?

Actually, i watched some of Season 11 a few days ago, and Rosie was in quite a few of the episodes, and besides there mainly just being MALE characters being produced into models, it would be nice to see a few more female engines being made in the near future alongside some old faves from Seasons 2 - 7.

Thomas & Friends / LastQ6's Model Projects - Arthur
January 23, 2008, 12:11:03 PM
Hi folks.

Recently aquired a Hornby standard class 3MT 2-6-2T to make a model of Arthur the LMS Tank Engine, but i need help on the livery, some have said it;s burgundy, and the only colour i could find was abit to glossy, i need a more satin or matt colour for him.

If anyone has any suggestions as to which colour would suit him properly for the tv series side, i would really appreciate it.

I seriously doubt Bachmann will drop the contract with HIT, They have produced far too good models in the Thomas range to drop the contract now, so i for one hope that Bachmann will please continue to make such wonderfully detailed Thomas models for a good few years to come.

I'm actually pleased that Hornby has made Spencer, it has been months since he was considered for production since Edward and Mavis arrived, now, hopefully next year, we might see Murdoch and a few other characters, though keeping in mind that not all characters featured in the RWS will be made, but Donald and Douglas are being considered, and will arrive in a few years time once Hornby makes a RTR model of the Caledonian Railway Class '828' 0-6-0.

Murdoch is a fascinating engine for me, his valve gear is alot different compared to other standard 9F locomotives, most locos have stevenson link motion, and quite a few have the caprotti link motion, i think that is what Murdoch's is?

But if he does become available between next year, after Edward and Mavis, that will be something i would look forward to more than anything.

Since silverspencer is no longer here, he has asked me to post up the completed projects page that he and others on a forum called MTF have done.

They are remarkable models, both in the form of Railway Series and Television Series characters, the gallery is full of models that have recently been completed by the owners.

An excellent job i must say, where do you get all your kits from?

I've modelled 009 at a club, and have found it hard to find some of the kits resembling the Skarloey engines, any ideas as to where i may find them?

Hiya

I've just been in a convo with silverspencer on MSN before all this happened, he has told me that he wasn't banned from this board, he deleted his account.
