Title: Mavis or Salty?
Post by: NiteFox on January 08, 2012, 07:37:32 PM
Hello, there. I'm am torn between buying a Bachmann Mavis or Salty.  I'm going to expand my layout to either a harbor or a quarry, but I'm indecisive about it and I would like the engine that works there.  May I please get the pros and cons of the engines? Mavis or Salty, whom shall I buy?

Mavis: She is as strong as salty, she is beautifly crafted and every inch on her is detailed. She can pull about three express coaches and is a smooth runner.

Salty: Is detailed, but looks baazar if you cannont weather him. Again, he is well crafted and is extremley accurate.

They are a hard decision!   ;)

I prefer Mavis, just because her face is slightly more accurate to the original model. Plus she's one of the originals (the series' that mattered).

Well it is a hard decision but i think i would go with salty. I say he is a better hauler, and i compared them and salty is a little better detailed
