I bought four engines from Trainworld and two from St Aubins. Both had excellent service and the best prices I could find. I only run Bauchmann engines as I model narrow gauge. Knock on wood I have never had a major problem. All my engines ran right out of the box with very little adjustment required. But, I guess that says more about Bachmann than the distributors. I would rank Trainworld as my first choice.

A member of the garden RR club I just joined also told me that Bachman was very good on keeping their warrenty claims. They replaced a modifed engine that he had sent back. He told me that is why it is necessary to remove any added electronics as they are not held responsible to remove them and send them back to you if they replace the entire engine. It would not be good to receive a new engine but loose a few hundred dollars worth of batteries, RC controls and sound boards.

I just purchased three new spectrum engines, 2-6-0, 4-6-0 and a two truck shay. I plan to convert them to battery power. Will inviladate my warrenty by doing this?
